Welcome one and all to CC #72
Kamikazewolf wrote: Just so you guys know, you can also do this on Terraria-conception.wikia.com. I am not advertising my wiki (it isn't even mine in the 1st place), I just wanted you to know about this so these ideas do not fall into obscurity once this thread closes down.
Summer is fast approaching, along with some really sweet entries!
As usual, entries for next month to @Khaios, and make sure to check out this guide on how to enter.
Also make sure you're familiar with the Creation Compendium Rules:
1) All entries must be submitted to the hosting member's profile NOT via PM (See the previous CC to determine who is next on the rotation).
2) All entries must be Terraria related in some way or another, whether that is in-game, art, music literature or any other form of creativity. Fanart of modded content will be accepted at the discretion of the CC team after review of the entry.
3) Each user may only submit one entry per month. Group entries are allowed, but all members who worked on the project must be credited and proof of consent from each member must be given. Group entries do count as a user's single entry.
4) Plagiarism is strictly not tolerated. Any evidence of such matters should be sent to a member of staff privately as soon as possible. The CC operates on a 'two strikes and you're out' system; after two offenses a user will be permanently banned from entering into all future Creation Compendiums.
5) Content such as memes, image macros, and other such content that does not contribute to the Compendium's message of expressing your creativity will be rejected. These 'low-effort entries' will be taken out at the CC team's discretion.
6) Entries must be of decent quality. Blurry images, distorted sound files, and entries of obvious minimal effort will not be accepted. Entries will be reviewed by the CC team, and may be removed at their discretion.
7) The CC is a showcase, not a contest. All entries submitted (that are within the rules) will make it into the post.
If you have any further questions, feel free to ask @darthmorf@Khaios or any TCF Staff member.

Greetings Terrarians!
Welcome to the the latest Terraria community update on development progress across all active platforms! Summer is really starting to heat up - and so is the news across every platform for Terraria. Read on below to uncover the latest and greatest information around the Terraria universe!
PlayStation 4 & XBOX ONE - PIPEWORKS
After the release of 1.3.1 our focus shifted toward patching bugs that emerged after the release of the update. In response, we released two set of hotfixes. You can find more information about what was included in those patches here.
The team has also been hard at work on content conversion, and some fun features like water distortion. We don’t have an ETA yet on when the next content update will be available, but we’ll make sure to share additional progress as it becomes available.
We also wanted to give a big shout out to Re-Logic for the announcement of their 1.4 patch! As fans of Terraria we’re as excited as you are to see what comes next!
SWITCH - PIPEWORKS
Next, let's look at a quick update on Switch. For starters, we wanted to make sure that everyone had a chance to check out the Switch Showcase Collection that we put together and posted here on TCF just a little while ago. This is where we will keep the videos that we have produced around Switch, each showing off a different aspect of Terraria on this platform. Click the link below to give these a view!

Good day Terrarians!
As you hopefully noticed, we had some pretty big news to share at E3 today! During the PC Gaming Show, we revealed live to the world that the in-development 1.3.6 update is no more... the next update to Terraria will in fact be the fourth major update we have developed for the game, which we are calling Terraria: Journey's End!
For those that were unable to watch the reveal live, we have shared the teaser trailer below - along with some key details and a bit of what we expect will be your FAQ. As we always do, we have left out a ton of juicy details and other content and features that will be included with Terraria: Journey's End. Some of those have or might be spoiled between now and launch, but others will remain a secret until you have the update in your hands later this year. So, without further ado... we present to you Terraria: Journey's End!
- Terraria: Journey’s End includes a full re-visit to all elements of Terraria. Over time, some things may have felt left behind or made obsolete by newer content. No more! Old things made new and new elements added to flesh out the overall experience – think you know all there is to know about Terraria? Think again!
- Terraria: Journey’s End will include over 800 new items for players to find or craft!
- Terraria: Journey’s End adds new foes to defeat and challenges to overcome as you seek fortune and glory.
- Terraria: Journey’s End will see a full revamp of world generation – including overall improvements and a handful of new mini-biomes to explore.
- Quality of Life improvements abound in Terraria: Journey’s End! From Block Swap to the...
Good Evening Terrarians!
As many of you know, our sweet little baby game just turned 8 years old! It feels like just yesterday we were hold up in a tiny hotel room in Minneapolis writing the initial design doc for 1.2! As the years have progressed and our community has grown, it has become very apparent that we all share one common goal: seeing our little game reach its full potential! With that I would like to share with you one of the many new critters you can expect to find in the upcoming 1.3.6 PC update;
There are no words to describe how much your continued support and passion means to the entire team. Terraria definitely would not be what it is today without our community and we thank you all so much for that. <3

PlayStation 4 & XBOX ONE - PIPEWORKS
For anyone that may have missed the news, we’re happy to share that 1.3.1 is available to download on PlayStation 4 & Xbox One!
You can check out the full patch notes HERE.
The team has also been monitoring bug reports by the community, and will be working to address any nagging issues that were introduced in this new update. If you do manage to come across a bug, please use this contact form.
After we get any additional needed hotfixes out to everyone, our focus will shift towards the next wave of content additions. Speaking of content, we have some good news on that front! Our current plan is to combine the next several updates including 1.3.5 into one patch - making the leap to try and get PS4/XB1 much closer to parity with PC! It’s very early, but we’ve already begun work integrating those pieces in the background.
SWITCH - PIPEWORKS
Next, let's look at a quick update on Switch. For this month's news item, we wanted to take the opportunity to give an overview on what we have planned in regards to touch support functionality for Terraria on Switch.
The team has poured a lot of time and effort and attention into really making...
Happy 8th Terraria Anniversary everyone! Eight years is a long time indeed, and it has been a wild ride – one full of ups and downs, joy and challenges, and a whole lot of additions to the game we all love so much. What began as a game that ended with Skeletron has flourished into an expansive adventure that spans multiple diverse biomes, culminating in an epic battle against the dreaded Moon Lord!
We never could have made it this far without your amazing, unwavering support – and we promise we never have and never will take that lightly or for granted. Thank you!
As a way of celebrating the occasion, we figured it would be fun to give everyone a little peek behind the curtain into the “what”, “why”, and “how” of this great Terrarian adventure! Why are things in the world the way they are? What’s the deal with the Dryad? Read on to have your burning questions answered… and even deeper questions raised – because after all, its still your adventure as well!
