Malwarebytes Web protection off (self.Malwarebytes) submitted 1 year ago by Kevinho171 Hey guys, so I've had Malwarebytes on my computer for a while and it's awesome! However I'm having issues with Web protection always being turned off and when i try to turn it on it just sits there trying to turn it on. Does Windows Defender turn Malwarebytes realtime web protection off? I have Malwarebytes Premium and Windows 10. Every time I switch Malwarebytes realtime web protection ON, it turns on for a split second, then turns off. I cannot make it stay on. Does Windows Defender do this? All other Malwarebytes options stay on. Thanks for any help.

After a thorough check as above :
Some antivirus/security products could be causing this error. McAfee, Norton, Windows Live OneCare,
Threatfire are a few. Which antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on machine now. And
which have you EVER had on it even if you uninstalled them. (These leave remnants which can cause
strange issues.)
Check the default services and dependencies to make sure they are running.
