Sega has finally developed and published Valkyria Chronicles 4 from CODEX for Xbox One, PC & Nintendo Switch in September of 2018. It was released for PlayStation 4 in March of 2018 in Japan. The last title to come out for PC from this series was the first title, Valkyria Chronicles which was released in 2014. We are very happy to see this tactical RPG coming to PC. The story of this fourth main title in the series takes place at the same time as the first story, meaning they are taking place parallel to each other. It even ties in to the third title in the series in the parallel ways and is a prequel to the second title in the series. The story is mostly character driven and you will see misfits and friends being thrown into a squadron to fight in the war because of the situations that arise. The story unfurls in the visual novel style diary of the leader which you will see during each episode of the story. I was dying to pick up this book: what a fascinating subject. The idea that someone from the early 20th century entered a future man's body and experienced life while his 1920s self was in a coma is beyond fascinating.

This book claims to follow a Swiss teacher named Paul Amadeus Dienach in his 360 days in the future. In his diary, he took over the body of one Andrew Northam, a resident of the year 3906. This is actually the claim made by Georgio Papachatzis. Of the two, Georgio was an actual person, although Dienach I am not so certain.

This is , without a doubt, one of the strangest books I have EVER read. This purports to be non-fiction, a true story of a man who someone slipped into our future - 2000 years hence. It is written in a way that makes you believe this is truly a diary of a non-writer. I hated the writer of the diary; he was always whining, depressed, obsessed. But the story is pretty incredible. It becomes hard to follow at times, so it is not a pleasant or easy read. Don't quite know what to make of it all.

Excellent description of an enhanced human experience, both from the author's point of view and the people of the future. However, it was not fully explained how the future came to have no people of color, but one must remember that this was written in 1922.

Chronicles From The Future.
Great book! The plot is intriguing and the narration is good, but if you are not familiar with the terms one can get lost.

Must be open minded and enjoy philosophy. It also helps to be a Trekkie too!
I enjoyed this book very much. It is not a fast read and is best if you read a little and contemplate. There is so much information and ideas. The best way for me to describe this book is as a Trekkie. The Next Generation, season 5, The Inner Light.
