I have definitely seen that some folks play with celebrity sims. I don't often re-create celebrities just for the purposes of seeing how much I can make them look like the celeb (I do occasionally by accident, though) -- unless I'm playing a sim that is inspired by their character in a movie/book/TV show. Sometimes I try my best to make them as close to the character as I can, and sometimes I only loosely base my sims on them.
Lately I've been playing with Margo (in my game her name is Margo Sagittarius, but she's from the book/movie Paper Towns in which her name is Margo Roth Spiegelman). I think Cara Delavigne is so goregeous, so I did try to make my sim look like her. She's a fun free-spirited sim, and I've been having a lot of fun playing with her lately.
I also did a sim named after Ichabod Crane from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. I didn't try to make him look like any of the Ichabod Cranes from the movies/TV - but, hey, any excuse to look at a picture of Johnny Depp.
I also have an evil sim inspired by Spike of Buffy fame. He's in a relationship with Margo's sister Lisette, currently, in my game.
What are some of the celebrities or characters that have inspired sims you've made or played with and what is going on with them in your games? Do you think of them as the celebrity - or a character that celebrity played - or a combination of both?
